Instead of opting for the conventional approach of tearing down walls, Rick Jacobson developed an innovative solution by creating a window above the stove. This thoughtful design not only enhanced the visual connection between the two spaces but also maintained the integrity of the home’s layout. The kitchen features a stunning blend of contemporary design elements that contribute to its overall aesthetic. The solid Oak flooring offers a warm and inviting foundation, while the white paneled cabinets provide a clean and modern look. A striking glass tile backsplash complements the cabinetry, creating a cohesive visual flow, and the Forest Fire Granite countertops add an element of sophistication. One of the standout features is the custom glass door cabinet, which showcases white tableware against the backdrop of glass shelving, elevating the kitchen’s elegance and functionality. In addressing the challenge of venting the stove while maximizing the wall opening, Rick crafted a custom header that integrates the range hood and exhaust fan seamlessly into the design.
