Chilly Houses & Atlantic Ocean Railing Greenhouses: @Backyard Revolutions Home → Backyard Revolutions presents the 'Greenhouses & Cold Frames' A Landscaping for Home Gardeners in and Around Denver, Golden, & Littleton Our eye for quality craftsmanship with innovative design helped us to bring this vision to life. In this location two custom greenhouses and three cold frames were built; The orientation of each was designed to maximize sun light exposure to each while providing the best protection from the Colorado climate. As a specification, we have used durable quality materials like polycarbonate sheets and treated cedar wood which can last for long period of time. The site topography was one of our biggest obstacles. To alleviate this our team utilized a staggered step style that improved overall accessibility while also distributing water, so it does not collect around the structures. Each cold frame was individually crafted with adjustable lids that open for ventilation and temperature control, a key feature when raising sensitive seedlings. The end-product was a beautiful balance of style and practicality, filled with thriving plant life in the greenhouses and cold frames. The client loved that these structures fit so well into the established landscape and has enjoyed toiling in a beautiful garden. Our expert touch with this allowed the client to enhance their gardening experience while also adding considerable value to their outdoor living area. At Backyard Revolutions, both rain garden installs and landscape renovation are completed to our high standard of excellence or not at all.
