Annapolis Outdoor Kitchen and Patio Deep in Annapolis, Honeysuckle Nursery & Design's' Annapolis Outdoor Kitchen and Patio' is an example of outdoor living at its finest. Our team transformed a small backyard into a beautiful space for entertaining guests, combining dramatic style with functionality. The primary goal of this was to construct a fully appointed outdoor kitchen, which included a high-quality stainless-steel grill, cabinetry crafted with custom materials, and plenty of granite counter space for food prep and entertaining. In close proximity to the outdoor kitchen is a beautiful paver patio crafted using everlasting, high-quality, materials that will hold up in Maryland weather, while also helping with aesthetics. The patio includes detailed patterns that blend beautifully into the natural environment and serve as the perfect backdrop for summer family gatherings and barbecuing. One significant challenge we encountered was the sloped topography of the property. Our landscape architects worked diligently to develop a tiered concept that leveled a space that felt safe while also creating visual interest and functionality. We also included retaining walls made of natural stone to alleviate any drainage issues, while also creating a layered aesthetic to this family layout. The further included lush landscaping with native plant material to provide seasonal beauty and interest (and to attract local wildlife). Also included in this package was the installation of a custom fire-pit, which sits adjacent to the patio and is a great feature for cool summer evenings. Ultimately, the result is a stunning outdoor living oasis that has delighted the clients and creates the perfect balance between luxurious living with comfort.
