Paver Patio & In-Ground Gas Fire Pit All Terrain Landscaping is excited to showcase a new Paver Patio and In-Ground Gas Fire Pit in a stunning location in Windsor. This outdoor oasis was created to turn a very functional and inviting space in our client’s backyard, building an area for entertaining and backyard lounging. To get the off the ground, we really thought the overall design to work with existing conditions. The interlocking pavers we used are of a higher grade material, both for durability and aesthetic quality, and they created a thoughtful connection between the backyard patio and surrounding gardens. The pavers are laid in a herringbone pattern making it fun and visually interesting, while achieving a functional base for foot traffic. The highlight of this is the well thought out gas fire pit, built with safety and ambiance in mind. The gas fire pit was constructed in high-quality, weather resistant material, to create a warm and inviting place for family and friends to gather on all of the summer evenings, as well as winter gatherings. We faced the difficult task of bringing a gas line from the house to the fire pit. We overcame the challenge by adapting the gas line to meet safety codes, but still be able to incorporate it into the design in an aesthetically appealing way. During this the landscaping team faced some difficult existing stuffing, like an uneven distance from step to step to the basement door, existing vegetation, and overall surface areas to an area that has been significantly altered by human interaction. To adapt to all of these conditions, our team got creative with grading and some landscaping to create a beautiful transition from the patios to the lush lawn and gardens. We selected native plants to Colorado that look amazing and thrive in our climate. When the client saw the final transformation, they were more than pleased. The client stated the new space is their favorite for summer barbeques and winter gatherings.
