About This Project

Classical, Whimsical and Drought Tolerant Beverly Hills | Classical, Whimsical, and Drought Tolerant Landscaping in the Heart of Beverly Hills by Bosler Earth Design A true marriage of conventional grace and whimsical flair, all with an eco-friendly, drought-tolerant approach. A complex design of California natives with a plethora of color with natives with succulents and ornamental grasses dispersed throughout the yard to create a lush paradise with minimal water. With an eye towards the classical aesthetic of the garden, we chose reclaimed stone pathways and natural wood accents for both durability, and to complement the surroundings. Answer: Creating a multi-level landscaped garden on a hillside one of the major challenges we overcame. In order to mitigate soil erosion, we implemented new terracing techniques that helped the land to drain properly but instead of straight edges we let the meandering pathways cut through creating different hidden seating nooks while still capturing the whimsical feel. The end result is not just a beautiful setting, but one that encourages our clients to spend time in, and enjoy.
