About This Project

Residence Inn Miami Beach by Tropical Turf Tropical Turf was excited to partner with and completed a beautiful landscaping for the Residence Inn Miami Beach. This design turned the property into a tropical oasis that fit beautifully in a vibrant coastal environment. Serving all of Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties, our talented team created a welcoming outdoor space for both guests and the local community. This incorporated an array of native Floridian plants, such as colorful hibiscus, fragrant jasmine, and hardy palm trees. The plants were selected for their low-maintenance qualities and suitability for a coastal environment. High-quality materials, such as decorative pebbles and stable pavers, created attractive pathways to guide guests through the landscaped areas to enjoy the space while being long-lasting and easy to maintain. Because of the hotel’s adjacent location to the beach, we faced some challenges concerning soil salinity and wind exposure. Our skilled team created innovative irrigation systems and identified salt-tolerant species to provide beauty in spite of that hostile environment. In the end, the landscaped areas produced a breathtaking landscape of a peaceful meditation garden, a vibrant flower bed, and well-defined seating areas intended for guests enjoying a relaxing retreat. Outdoor lighting was key in accentuating the beauty of the plants and pathways in the space to create an inviting space for evening strolls and gatherings. The Residence Inn Miami Beach is a true testament to Tropical Turf’s quality in a creative landscape over outdoor space, and it was a pleasure to delight our clients and their guests with a beautiful outdoor experience.
