Fountains + Statues by The Plant Gallery The Plant Gallery is excited to introduce the "Fountains + Statues" landscaping , based in the New Orleans region. The involved the creation of two beautiful fountains made of cast stone, creating a focal point for the area, as well as a relaxing environment. In addition to the fountains, flowers beds were designed around the fountains that feature native plants to provide color and life year-round for the person's preference. Beautiful sculptures were used in the design that complemented the personal choices of the client while adhering to the overall detail of the design; the sculptures were chosen because they would be timeless and each have a story behind them to support their unique character, charm, and appeal to the overall landscape. Some of the challenges for our team were the installation of an irrigation system that would keep the fountains operating while maintaining the health of any surrounding plants. The existing site also presented difficulties; however, with great skill, the landscapers were able to level the site, prepare the site for proper drainage, and allow a suitable and stable area for installation. The end result is an extraordinarily beautiful outdoor environment that invites contemplation and relaxation worthy of entertaining guests or sitting quietly at night. After all of this was completed in a professional manner, the client expressed how much joy they had in seeing the outdoor area come to life and how design of the water features and sculptures would provide ongoing inspiration. The Plant Gallery, with amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail, once again proved their high expertise in making the landscapes beautiful and tranquil throughout Arabi, Avondale, Belle Chasse, and beyond.
