Located in the heart of Newburgh, this landscaping had its share of obstacles, but we welcomed the challenge. The began with a consultation to understand Mr. Bruce's vision for his yard. With the goal to preserve the natural beauty of the property, we wanted to create a yard that met both functionality and low-maintenance standards. Our skilled team designed a multi-tiered garden, filled with native plants that not only flourish in the local climate but also attract pollinators, adding to the ecosystem. Taking into account the need for visual interest, we included a customized stone pathway made of local bluestone, which led to a tranquil patio designed for sitting. The patio was framed with ornamental grasses and flowering perennials, making it a nice space for outdoor relaxing and gathering. We also built a decorative wooden trellis for climbing vines to grow on, giving verticality and interest to the area. The property had another obstacle, which was the terrain. Our talented professionals graded the land equalizing it for proper drainage and to avoid water pooling on either property and landscaping. We also sourced high-quality, environmentally-friendly mulch to help maintain moisture and reduce weeds so that Mr. Bruce's garden can stay lively year-round. The outcome of this exceeded our client's expectations, turning a blank yard into a breathtaking outdoor area. Mr. Bruce voiced that he was very pleased to see the balancing act between aesthetics and functionality leave him with the perfect space for family gatherings and evenings he spent there himself.
