Outdoor Living by Rex Rieger Landscaping At Rex Rieger Landscaping, we believe a great outdoor space should be an extension of the home, providing both beauty and useability. Our most recent 'Outdoor Living' in Chesterfield, demonstrates this philosophy. As an expansive renovation , we designed a gorgeous multi-level patio with natural stone pavers manufactured with quality in mind to help the patio merge with the landscape. We also built a modern outdoor kitchen complete with a grill, granite countertops, and built-in cabinetry. It is a perfect atmosphere for summer barbeques and family gatherings. We even created a fire pit with seating made from reclaimed wood that introduced rustic charm to the scene to resonate with the homeowner’s vision. And with perennial gardens and lighting, we are able to create a warm, inviting area when the sun goes down. Ultimately, one of our biggest challenges was managing the grade of the property because the yard had a slope which required special attention with drainage and retaining walls. Our team of landscaping professionals put the landscape first and engineered a solution utilizing sustainability in the form of building materials and drainage strategy that addressed the slope of the grade yet still maintaining the landscape aesthetic. The result was simply stunning, (our) outdoor living embodied the trust of the client with purpose, design, and quality craftsmanship that made the yard feel lush yet comfortable for entertaining or a quiet summer evening.
