Patio by Rex Rieger Landscaping One of our core principles at Rex Rieger Landscaping is the transformation of outdoor spaces into peaceful retreats, which is evident in our latest , 'Patio'. Located in Chesterfield, this large patio was designed for a multi-functional outdoor living space which could be used for both relaxation and entertaining. Our team began with a thorough consultation to understand the client’s desires including the mixture of functionality and aesthetics. We used high quality materials such as natural stone pavers and composite decking to create a beautiful patio that fit in with the existing landscape and was durable for outdoor living. The site did present some challenges, most notably the sloping terrain of the property, which required grating and drainage to circumvent water building up over time. Our team spec'd out and installed a full drainage system to encourage water flow but also created opportunities to enrich the area rendering the space attractive using landscape boulders and native plants. There were several features built in addition to the patio, including built-in seating, and a fire pit and all the while adding plants to soften the feel of the area. The warm-toned light fixtures also added ambient light that helped set the space up for relaxation and entertaining in the later night hours. The end result is a remarkable outdoor oasis that our client was thrilled, which melds nature with modern layout and design. The Patio has since earned the reputation of the gathering place for family and friends alike.
