Design and Build Hardscape of Swimming Pool Area Mike Clean Cut Landscaping, Inc. would like to show off our newest design and build hardscape , this beautiful pool area located in the lovely neighborhood of Troy, MI. Not only is this outdoor oasis a visual retreat for the homeowners, it beautifully brings together the functional and the aesthetic. We started with an in-depth consultation to find out more the clients vision. We worked with a designer to create a diagram, which included an inground pool surrounded by beautiful but durable paver stones. We used high-end materials like natural stone coping and textured pavers in earth tone colors that matched and blended with the natural landscape but were slip resistant for safety. A challenge we had to overcome was the slope on the property we needed to find creative solutions for draining the area around the pool so that it wouldn’t fill up with the rainwater. For the pool, our team designed an efficient drainage system that serves as a boundary between the pool and landscaping while still complementing the beauty of the landscape. Along with the pool we added a large sun deck and some casual seating areas to laze around and hangout. The area is surrounded by a lush selection of shrubs and ornamental grasses that enclose the space with some beautiful privacy! Custom lighting along the paths and around the pool were added to make the space welcoming after the sun goes down. The end result is a pool area, which not only exceeded the expectations of the client, but made their backyard a paradise place.
