The outdoor kitchen's central feature is a beautiful stone-built grill station made out of natural stone to withstand the elements and provide an appealing appearance. Stainless steel appliances were incorporated, including a refrigerator and built-in sink, so the kitchen could be both beautiful and functional. The were important, so the team made sure all the elements work together in one seamless space, using custom cabinetry that includes storage. One of the headaches we had to deal with was the sloping topography of our client's yard. Our great team built levels and a beautiful flagstone patio that provides a flat transition from ground to kitchen, but with a beautiful stone surface. We used permeable pavers, for drainage, which we felt was a great touch demonstrating our commitment to sustainable landscaping practices. To surround the kitchen, we designed the area with lush garden beds filled with perennial plants, and some annual seasonal flowers, for color and fragrance. In addition, outdoor lighting was another essential aspect. It was important to place LED fixtures in specific locations to highlight elements of the kitchen, and provide a inviting atmosphere for evening gatherings. What was created was spectacular! The outdoor kitchen becomes part of the home and is both beautiful and functional and an outdoor escape to spend time with friends and family.
