We built a custom, stone patio, where the stone came from local Tennessee flagstone, creating a stamped layer where they can enjoy outdoor social gatherings. In addition to the patio, we opted for a variety of native plants/scrubs that are well suited for the Middle Tennessee climate. These include but are not limited to qualities of low maintenance and specific biodiversity. One of the major focal points of the property was the beautiful flower bed that meanders throughout the landscape filled with colorful perennials and ornamental grasses. The boulders we placed throughout the flower beds create continuity with a natural flow throughout the landscape. We also had to make another important decision regarding grading of the property. Being property owners, the initial back yard was highly uneven. As a team, we expertly graded the property which allowed for some nice tiering of the property, which helped mitigate water drainage issues while also adding some dimension to the landscape. As part of the installation, we also included an invisibly irrigation system to assist with watering support, which aerates the plants even in their lush greenery and bursts of bloom. Overall the end product is truly stunning. The homeowners have expressed their satisfaction and love with their newly transformed outdoor space, which has become a peaceful retreat in their back yard. This was thoughtfully designed and utilized a high-quality of materials, with a strong attention to detail to create an outstanding landscape that My Landscape Guide will be known and associated with you.
