Alfond A Tranquil Outdoor Retreat The Alfond , completed by Perpetual Bloom Gardening Services, LLC, exemplifies our love for building stunning landscapes that respect nature while enhancing our client's outdoor space. Located in beautiful Cape Elizabeth, it showcases our ability to produce quality work through beautiful design and craftsmanship. The Alfond landscape includes a captivating mix of native plantings, vibrant perennial beds, and beautiful hardscape elements. To promote seamless integration with the natural environment, our team specified local stone for the pathways and retaining walls, thereby ensuring a durable product that reflects the coastal charm of the area. The team also specified permeable pavers for the patio area, which provide a practical solution to the ongoing issue of drainage in the coastal environment. One of the biggest obstacles we encountered was the extremely contoured property, requiring extensive planning and execution. Our skilled team used terracing techniques to create an attractive and functional landscape that makes the most of usable space while allowing for natural flow. We provided extensive grading, in addition to soil amendments, to promote plant health and stability to create design elements that could be stable, add color, and provide visual appeal all year. The end result is a beautiful outdoor oasis with a relaxing water feature, usable seating areas, and an array of colorful plants to attract native pollinators and wildlife. The client expressed how pleased they are with their transformation and that the new landscape has become a resort for their family gatherings and a place to relax when they want to escape the world.
