This is the Mountain Top Resort by Artisan Landscapes and Pools. The 'Mountain Top Resort' was hand crafted by Artisan Landscapes and Pools, located in the beautiful hills of New Jersey. Our team turned a rugged hillside into a pitch-perfect landscape with an outdoor oasis that strikes the ideal balance between luxury and nature, serving all communities from Boonton to Bergen County. We started this with an in-depth site analysis to tackle some of the topographical difficulties unique to this property. So we used strong local stone to build concrete-and-stone retaining walls to create our terraced gardens, and while the gardens provide full structure and beauty, the walls emulate beauty, too. Every terrace is garnished by a variety of indigenous flora, selected for their hardiness and aesthetic value to compliment each other as a sustainable landscape thriving throughout the seasons. The magnificent infinity-edge pool is the focal point of the stone-laden patio, complete with views of the surrounding hills. The pool area has a large wooden deck, and is made with premium materials such as glass tile mosaics and natural stone coping. The design included custom-built areas for seating to suit small social gatherings or grand al fresco parties. New winding paths compose reclaimed brick and sprinkled with solar lighting provides guests with lush gardens of colorful perennials and ornamental shrubs. Water features with a calm koi pond along with a small waterfall help round out the peaceful atmosphere of this mountain retreat. Over the course of the , we encountered challenges of steep slopes and drainage; issues that were creatively solved and expertly manufactured through proven methods and conscientious workmanship. That defines a beautiful retreat, blessed with an amazing view and adds to the outdoor living space.
