About This Project

Garden Rooms, GardenArt GardenArt is excited to introduce our newest Landscaping “Garden Rooms” nestled within the vibrant communities of Lafayette and West Lafayette. With more than just one function, our clients range from those who want a beautiful outdoors space where they can enjoy, to visitors of all kinds as this outdoor space reinvents everything we know of a beautiful yet functional living. The involved designing a number of different garden rooms that function as private retreats, sociable meeting spaces and lively vibrant environments. Our talented team employed a synthesis of native plants, ornamental grasses, and seasonal flowers to create a design that is beautiful throughout the year while being ecologically sound. It wasn't without its difficulties, however: the location was sloped, and parts of it were shady much of the day. We dealt with these issues by building terraced beds and picking shade-tolerant species that do well here. They used durable yet natural materials, such as stone pathways and reclaimed wood for raised garden beds, which gave the garden a rustic but earthy feel. The outcome: a collection of garden rooms that connect to the broader landscape outside the original footprint, enveloped in comfortable seating, a calming water feature to linger by, and flower beds that admit depth and color. Our clients were delighted with the result and tell us the space has now become their go-to space for all family and friends!!
