Brick Driveway by Vidal Landscaping & Snow Plowing At Vidal Landscaping & Snow Plowing, we recently finished an intricate brick driveway that has transformed our client’s property into a warm, more functional space. Our company proudly serves the beautiful communities that surround Algonquin, Barrington Hills and far beyond. Our team offered quality workmanship and took great care in all of the planning, resulting in a finished product that far exceeded our client's expectations. This design featured 3 complementary bricks in a rich, earthy tone that were properly laid to create a functional and stunning driveway. We used high-quality clay bricks that are long-lasting and able to withstand weather, ultimately maintaining the beauty of this driveway for many years to come. There were also many subtle curves in the pattern that added interest and functionality for proper drainage. One of the challenges that we encountered with this ecological design was that the property itself had uneven terrain requiring quite a bit of grading on our part to create a solid base. Our highly-skilled team had advanced equipment to level the area in order to create a stable base to lay the trucked in bricks. At the completion of this , we also incorporated beautiful landscaping to complement the brickwork in the driveway. For example, there was a brick border at the edges and many plantings were also placed on either side of the driveway to create a nice transition from the home to the outdoor space. Ultimately, the finished design showcased an aesthetically-pleasing and functional brick driveway; which turned out to not only increase the character of the property but also allow for a solid hard surface for common use. Our client was very happy with the finished product and commended the level of detail and professionalism of our team at Vidal Landscaping & Snow Plowing. Ultimately this celebrates the quality of work and the passion we bring to our service areas to transform outdoor living spaces, from Crystal Lake to South Elgin and beyond.
