About This Project

New Development Patio by Ringers Landscape Services, Inc. Ringers Landscape Services, Inc. is excited to announce the completion of the "New Development Patio", an outdoor we undertook for a wonderful client in Barrington Hills, Illinois. Our aim for the patio was to be a space that was sophisticated yet usable, marrying the existing landscape aesthetics to provide functionality. Our process began with an analysis of the site, determining the existing site characteristics as well as the client's lifestyle needs. There were slope restraints and limited access for heavy machinery to consider. With careful planning and implementing inventive processes, we leveled the area and used tractors with special attachments for a strong sub-base for the patio. In creating the patio surface, we used durable pavers in colors and tones of earth who correlate with the landscape. To create an air of elegance, we included custom stone retaining walls which were both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Native plantings were included placed along the edges of the patio to provide contrast to the hardscape and habitat for wildlife. Included were ambient lighting features for nighttime ambiance to the patio to keep it friendly for social gatherings after the sun went down, providing the option of how long to enjoy the evening outside. In conclusion, the end result was a beautiful outdoor space that exceeded the expectations of the clients, creating a special outdoor space for hosting gatherings for friends or quiet evenings under the stars.
