Hardscape Highlights by Ringers Landscape Services, Inc. Recently Ringers Landscape Services, Inc. completed the 'Hardscape Highlights' , creating a breathtaking outdoor living environment for a residential property in Barrington Hills. This was developed with the intent of enhancing the site's surroundings and creating usable outdoor living areas. The central focus of the is a large, multi-level patio built from high-quality, locally-sourced natural stone. The subdued warm earth tones add to the surrounding area to create a transitional area between the hardscape and the natural landscape. Each stone was hand-picked for its durability and visual characteristics to be functional yet aesthetically pleasing for their lifetime. To enhance the outdoor living experience, Ringers also incorporated a custom outdoor kitchen with a stainless-steel grill, bar top / countertops of granite, and a beautiful natural stone backsplash that is suitable for entertaining family or friends. To create a cozy evening space, Ringers also added a fire pit to complete the entertaining area surrounded by chairs for additional seating and comfort, allowing the homeowners to remain in the garden long after the sun goes down. A notable challenge on the site was the hike up from the grade elevation of the lawn at the beginning of the . There were also drainage issues surrounding the patio; Ringers creatively integrated the issue by adding a tiered design allowing for drainage while creating site interest. In addition, we constructed the retaining walls using properly interlocking blocks. The result of the 'Hardscape Highlights' is an outdoor living space that harmonizes well with the environments used by the homeowners. The combination of quality materials, quality workmanship, and innovative design helped create an incredible living place for the entire family.
