Charles Dilbeck Estate in Bluffview M. M. Moore Construction Company, Inc. is proud to share the spectacular makeover of the Charles Dilbeck Estate in Bluffview. The property is a prime example of our focus on quality of work and forward thinking on landscape design. The property sits in one of the finest neighborhoods in Dallas and required a thoughtful approach to improve the natural beauty of the landscaping while capturing the elegance of its architectural style. Our talented team faced challenges such as the steep topography of the estate and needing a thoughtful approach toward sustainable water. Our approach was to install a tiered garden which xended the property's existing landscaping while providing a sound drainage solution. Using natural stone retaining wall gave both function and beauty with colors that matched perfectly with its existing elegant face. The outdoor living area features custom design work including a permanent patio area with pavers and a beautiful fire feature! Lush, native plantings were used to add biodiversity to the landscape, while offering low maintenance enclosers for the plants most suited for the climate, tolerate drought and provided a color show in all seasons. We incorporated a water feature to provide a focal point in the garden, while offering birds and other wildlife an opportunity to visit and offer entertainment to the homeowner and guests alike! Attention to detail is apparent in plant selections, hardscape installations and the overall execution. The end result is a magical landscape that surrounds and complements the Charles Dilbeck Estate, while providing a usable outdoor entertaining space.
