This was an enjoyable challenge that allowed us to show off our commitment to quality and craftsmanship in landscaping. The previous pool area was functional but did not serve the homeowner's desire for beauty and comfort. We followed our design process, starting with a thorough consultation to explore our client's desires - which included an inviting space for lounging and entertaining. Given our discussions, we decided on a design and scope of work that would include natural stone pavers, a garden border with native plants, and strategic outdoor lighting to create a pleasing environment for partying or relaxing at night. Once the layout and design were confirmed, we embraced quality and durability by selecting natural stone pavers paired that would not only directly complement the existing home exterior, but would also provide slip resistance around the pool area. This is especially important for families with children and pets. Then we proceeded with the work involving excavation and leveling to provide a stable substrate for the foundation to endure the elements over time. The biggest challenge with the was addressing the sloping side yard surrounding the pool, which we accounted for through discussions with the homeowner and educated planning to ensure proper drainage and pooling of water. Our team of skilled craftsman then built a subtle wall from the same stone materials that addressed the slope effectively and provided a much needed design feature to the space. To finish the pool surround update, we included a whole host of native plants that will thrive in our climates, merging an explosion of natural beauty with a sustainable environment. Plus, the outdoor lighting will better scape to an elegant retreat at night and further encourages the family to use their pool well into the evening. In the end, our goal to build a stunning pool oasis were realized for our clients, resulting in a deserved destination for their summer get-togethers or evening relievers. Good design, craftsmanship, and functionality were enhanced through our , as can be seen by how it improved the property curb appeal.
