In the midst of New Hampshire, Michael Therrien Landscaping, LLC delivered this gorgeous residential landscaping that enhances a suburban property giving the home a beautiful outdoor living space. Tasked with transforming a worn-out and unwelcoming yard into a lively and usable area the homeowners desired, our team was ready for the challenge, and the results speak for themselves!Now serving Bedford, Goffstown, Merrimack and beyond, the Montgomery team got to work transforming a worn down and ailing yard into a lush and functional space the homeowners had envisioned for them. The was initiated with a detailed site analysis and determining aspects of the area that would improve the natural beauty of the landscape and increase usability. With all the essential features of a functional yard, our dedicated team designed the space to include a natural blue stonestone patio allowing her to meld the subject matter beautifully into the surrounding features. Providing a space for friends and family to gather, the patio offers built-in seating, as well as a fire pit to enjoy year-round. For that, we chose many native plants and perennials, low-maintenance and supporting local biodiversity. We mixed in plenty of hydrangeas, ornamental grasses, and perennial flowers to ensure the palette changes seasons. We also set up the drip irrigation system to keep the plants alive and save water. The land was not completely flat, which was one of the challenges we properly dealt with. A beautiful solution for terracing was executed by our team, using natural stone retaining walls to strengthen the slopes and interest the landscape visually. This has resulted in a multi-level garden that encourages exploration and improves the flow of the yard as a whole. The end result was greater than the client had hoped for and provided an alluring escape that offsets the beauty with purpose. The homeowners were thrilled with their new outdoor living area, which also served as an addition to their property value and a private getaway for leisure and entertaining purposes.
