In this , we gave this tired front yard an updated look to ensure that the new acreage combined beautifully with the existing neighborhood and home type. The first step for our team was to perform an understanding of the current site to define areas of improvement. The object is to solve water drainage problems that have led to erosion of the property and even, in some cases, large puddles. Through innovative solutions, we developed an integrated subsurface drainage system, allowing water to flow away from the foundation and improving the ecosystem of the landscape. The rich, layered planting scheme contains a selection of perennials, grasses, and native shrub species that were chosen for their seasonal appeal, visual volume, and low-maintenance nature. Natural stone paths made from local granite for a natural touch that welcomes people to wander through the space. Finally, we comprised the space with a beautiful weathered stone retaining wall that defines the area in addition to being a beautiful focal point. We incorporated landscape lighting to accentuate the focal points to make glamour happen at evening hours to maintain a perennial appeal. The team worked diligently to sod the area so there is now a beautiful green lawn ready to be enjoyed or it just adds that curb appeal. The overall outcome is a seamless balance of beauty and utility that has made both an improvement to the aesthetics of the home and enhanced its value.
