Grant Landscaping - Superior Landscape & Irrigation Recently, Superior Landscape & Irrigation completed a landscape in Grant, MN that has completely transformed the outdoor space of our happy client. This successfully captured both function and aesthetics, demonstrating our attention quality and detail. After conducting a complete site evaluation, we discovered some challenges with the sloping topography, and some parts of the site received very little sunlight. Our landscape architects creatively utilized this to create tiered garden beds with locally sourced natural stone, as both a functional and visual element that created better drainage away from the home site and made the space more accessible. For the hillside garden beds, we curated a diverse palette of colorful native plants that included perennials, wildflowers, and shrubs providing a self-sustaining landscape in our region. We also designed a custom patio with materials that would endure the elements, accommodate conversation seating, and included a fire-pit feature for warmth and relaxation. We took the experience one step further by placing carefully the patio and fire-pit area opposite the overall landscape, where gardening lights can be directed toward to illuminate both during evening use and enhance the landscape's beauty during the evening. Finally, we installed an efficient irrigation system to prevent under watering or waste, so every square inch of the landscape can receive the appropriate water and support plant growth, resources, and sustainability. Ultimately, every yard has unique characteristics that makes the outdoor sanctuaries beautiful and enjoyable from all vantage points. The home concluded with a completed outdoor sanctuary by blending hardscape and softscape that the family can enjoy "every season," along with a maintenance plan provided by Superior for continued, quality maintenance. At the end of the , the client was kind enough to share that our truly "elevating their outdoor living experience" at their home in Grant.
