We reimagined this grand estate into a luxurious outdoor sanctuary that blends luxurious living with nature, serving multiple markets from Antelope and Carmichael to Granite Bay. As guests enter 'Le Estate', they are welcomed by a fine work of art in the form of a natural reseeded sandstone paver path, beautifully framing the main entry. By choosing native plants the lush plantings were designed to beautify the estate and to ensure sustainability. Faced with the challenges of the estate's sloped land, our team created a tiered garden design, complementing the layout with locally sourced granite boulders that act as the garden's retaining walls and give a natural sense of integrity to the landscape. At the center of Le Estate is a calming water fall which spills into a placid koi pond with garlanded landscaping including Japanese maples and aromatic lavender. This installation needed some pretty precise engineering under the deck to make sure there was drainage and water movement, but the gorgeous fire-fish sanctuary created was well worth it for both species! A custom, reclaimed timber pergola also preserved a large section of the outdoor living area and made it well suited for entertaining. Next to it, we added a gourmet outdoor kitchen with future ready appliances for the ultimate in form meets function. This attention to detail is evident by the craftsmanship behind every detail, including the planting precision and selection of durable, eco-friendly materials for longevity. Not only did we exceed our clients vision for the final result of 'Le Estate', but we created a serene space to unwind and enjoy. Feedback from the homeowners is that we nailed it, and have created a timeless landscape that will be enjoyed for many years to come.
