Starting with a reliably steeply-sloped site, we then designed with multiple, high-quality retaining walls constructed of the local natural stone to create a presence and structure to the levels. Not only did this contribute to the aesthetics of it, but it also provided drainage and prevented erosion issues. Transplanted an incredible variety of plants, native to the local climate areas to ensure year-round interest, into an impressive landscape. We added beds of color with lovely perennials and hardy shrubs and ornamental grasses to give a respite from all the hard surfaces bringing beauty, balance and low-maintenance to the busy homeowners lives with the least upkeep and flowering plants around. This custom flagstone patio provides the perfect outdoor experience, with a built-in fire pit for all of your family and friends to gather around. The lush landscaping that frames the patio, creates a welcoming environment which draws people plus their hearts outdoors! Arguably second only to the carbon offsets, lighting was vital in this , where we installed LED fixtures that lighted pathways, and showcased the beauty of the landscape. Not to mention it made things safer, but it also meant that the magical outdoor wonder of the backyard would continue to be on show even after night came to call. Striking a partnership with the client, the end result was a stunning outdoor sanctuary that far exceeded the clients dreams.
