Fire Pits | Detailed Landscape | _overview At Detailed Landscape, we have the philosophy that outdoor living can be a lifestyle; It can be all three: comfortable, stylish and functional. The following photos are from one of our most recent s, Fire Pits, and exemplify quality craftsmanship and design for the communities of Fort Collins, Ft Collins, Laporte, Severance, Timnath, Wellington, and Windsor. The focus for this was a beautiful, custom fire pit area for family and friends to gather around. First off, we worked closely with our clients to get a feel for their vision and desires for the design, creating a design that made the best of their existing landscape. Contributing to the yard, we chose higher-end materials like local stone and heat-resistant pavers, that last and look great. The firepit was designed with stone to make it look natural along with an amazing seating area with comfy weatherproof chairs. We also added soft landscape lighting to provide an inviting ambience to evening entertaining. The had design constraints such as undulating earth with other landscape elements that had to be retained. We faced numerous challenges, and our expert team expertly choreographed around them with advanced grading techniques, while minimizing disturbance to native fauna. The result is a melding of the new fire pit area into the existing landscape that adds to the beauty of the property. The clients loved their new outdoor escape and a job well done! And the feature, the fire pit, it acts as both a functional heat source and cooking accessory as well as a central point that encourages conversation and relaxation. This is an example of how Detailed Landscape creates beautiful back yards that become a magical getaway for families throughout Northern Colorado.
