About This Project

Maui Resort by Artisan Home Resorts Located in the center of Silicon Valley, Artisan Home Resorts’ landscaping the “Maui Resort” is a beautiful balance of tropical sophistication and outdoor living arrangements. The work showcased in this exemplifies our promise of quality and innovation and serves clients around Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos, and further out. Central to this design is a large, multi-level deck of ethically harvested Ipe wood that serves as an inviting area to gather. We carefully selected an array of drought-resistant plants such as hibiscus, plumeria, and ferns to create this tropical oasis that is perfectly suited for the local climate. We included it in the design, along with a koi pondcomplete with a natural stone waterfall and the pleasant sounds that come with itto serve as a quiet refuge. This was one of the yards with the biggest slope, so careful grading and retaining wall placement was needed to maintain level and proper access. To overcome this, our team utilized local granite boulders not only to provide structural strength to the wall however likewise to blend in the natural surroundings making it more aesthetically pleasing. The end result is a stunning oasis that has made the outdoor space feel like a private escape. The client was very pleased with the end product, which struck a balance of beauty and usage. The Maui Resort, the new landscape style of gatherings, quiet evenings beneath the stars and much more is a reflection of Artisan Home Resorts' tradition of fine craftsmanship and emerging landscape style.
