Pool, Travertine Patio and Outdoor Kitchen by Artscape Land Design Located in the center of New Orleans, Artscape Land Design shares with us an amazing design for a client of Elmwood, with a beautiful pool zone that integrates a travertine patio and an outdoor kitchen. The client wanted a luxurious outdoor lounge to use as a place to entertain family and friends and this ambitious resulted. A finely built swimming pool focused on both form and function is the park design's centerpiece. The soft curves and clean silhouette of the water offers restfulness, and the travertine patio grounds the whole space in warmth and beauty. The travertine pavers, extracted from the best quarries, are attractive and slip-resistant, which is advantageous for lounging around the pool. Grading was an essential part of filling trenches and getting the original, uneven ground evened out to create a drainable and level base for the walls as they went up. We were able to overcome this challenge with our experienced team utilizing modern methods to ensure fluidity between the patio and the pool for an optimal outdoor experience. In addition, the outdoor kitchen is a gourmet kitchen, with high-end appliances including a built-in grill, refrigerator, and lots of counter space for cooking. Made with weather-resistant materials, this kitchen is made for the elements and creating a gathering place. The outcome is a stunning outdoor space that aligns with the client's vision while offering a balance between functionality and aesthetics. Everything, from the subtle landscape lighting around the pool to the greenery served a unique purpose in setting up the moods. Now this happy client has their very own getaway in their own backyard that provides all the relaxing and entertaining that anyone could need, which speaks to the high level of quality and craftsmanship that Artscape Land Design provides to Jefferson, Kenner, Metairie, Metairie Terrace, and River Ridge.
