About This Project

Patio and Driveway by TotalScape Design Recently, TotalScape Design finished a residential Patio and Driveway that upgraded an urban property in Fort Lauderdale. The homeowner envisioned a usable and artistic outdoor living area that fit into the South Florida coastal lifestyle. After a site analysis to assess challenges such as side sloping of terrain and drainage problems, our design team utilized high-quality permeable pavers that provide visual appeal and effective water management. The stylish design of the driveway utilized a warm-toned paver layout which led the observer to an entryway with complimentary landscape on both sides of the driveway. The landscaping included native plant use and ornamental grasses to generate texture and visual interest in color. The outdoor living area patio layout was sized for relaxation and entertaining family gatherings. The user of this space can have activities such as using built-in seating areas for conversations around the fire pit, while enjoying a sunset. All building materials used in the patio were weather-resistant and durable. The outcome of this was a residential outdoor oasis that truly amazed our client. To combine functional outdoor usability along with natural beauty was a tremendous satisfaction to our firm.
