Driveway & Landscape Boca Raton by TotalScape Design The Boca Raton Driveway & Landscape by TotalScape Design is a shining example of our work to transform outdoor spaces into stunning and functional design. Located right in Boca Raton, the was intended to fuse both element and function, and enhance the curb appeal of our client's home. The began with the demo of an old driveway that was underwhelming and lacked visual impact. We chose earthy and warm-coloured, quality interlocking pavers that complemented the coastal architecture. The design incorporated a herringbone pattern which not only elevated the visual appeal, but also provided additional durability for weathering. To surround the driveway, we created a landscape with a selection of native Florida plants and ornamental shrubs to provide beauty and sustainability. We used drought tolerant plants such as Florida-friendly lantanas that produces color year round with minimal irrigation, other species will bloom in their segments of the year. Bougainvilleas adorn the house’s façade during the warm months. In addition to the plants, we used decorative rocks as a defined edge to the garden beds, eliminating visible grass to keep a tidy look. One challenge with the was drainage issues on-site, which resulted in pooling during storms. As we have done in many of our s, our crew created a solution that would help mitigate drainage problems using the French drain system. It effectively resolved the drainage issue while also protecting the driveway and landscaping. The final result has left our client happy. The driveway and landscape were designed to align with one another and create a welcoming entrance while displaying the home's architectural presence to guests. The maintains aesthetic appeal with functional design, and is a proud example of TotalScape Design work the Boca Raton market, and beyond. Each element was carefully selected and installed to ensure this backyard is an outdoor space they are proud of for years to come.
