Custom Boulder Retaining Wall by Woodward Landscape Supply At Woodward Landscape Supply, transforming outdoor spaces is our expertise, and we were proud to complete a Custom Boulder Retaining Wall which exemplifies our craftsmanship and quality in the process. We are proud to serve the different communities of Audubon, Chester Springs, King of Prussia and beyond, and were excited to respond to the customer's request to accomplish their vision. The effort involved identifying and placing natural boulders that were sourced from local quarries that would work in harmony with the cohesive look of the existing landscape. The challenges presented were unique, given the sloping terrain and varying soil conditions. While navigating the specific grading for the installation, we also engineered the boulders to accommodate weed barriers and drainage at the base of the structure. Attention to detail went into the planning, execution, care and placement of the materials and the overall look of the wall. The wall is designed organically, incorporating larger and smaller boulders into the layout to maintain a natural and inviting look that integrates well to engage the client's garden space. Nature plantings were incorporated at the base of the retaining wall to soften the hardscape, and in tribute to the prettiness of the local, native environment to add to the existence of a unique ecology that promotes biodiversity. At completion of the , the client remarked on how thrilled they were with the look and transformation of what began to exist. The Custom Boulder Retaining Wall was not only practical, but became a focal point of their yard that captured function in a mesmerizing look.
