We designed the area to flow between the pool and the lush landscaping, incorporating a mix of natural stone and clean, minimalist material finishes. The site presented a whole host of issues that were unusual to deal with such as the topography and drainage of the site and the surrounding area. Overcoming these challenges was done by our highly experienced team who were able to work with both the engineering and estate landscaping teams to develop a grading plan to allow the water to flow freely through and away from the pools, ensuring their longevity as well as the surrounding gardens. Native plants that suit the site, like sea oats and beach sunflower contribute the coastal theme and sustainability by requiring little irrigation. It is a colorful tapestry of textures ranging from bright flowering plants and waving palms to gentle grasses reminiscent of a tropical paradise. Natural stone-paths guide the guests through the quiet haven of the hotel, inviting exploration and relaxation.
