Experience: Oceanfront by Tara Gardens Inc. Located on the beautiful shores of Southampton, 'Oceanfront' by Tara Gardens Inc. is the highest quality in custom landscape design. Servicing the picturesque community of Bridgehampton, East Quogue, and beyond, we transformed a difficult coastal site into a tranquil escape that highlights the natural beauty and appropriate function. This featured grand outdoor living opportunities, including a multi-level deck built from sustainable Ipe, which provided for the durability necessary to withstand the coastal elements while preserving the ocean view. Native grasses and hardy perennial plantings were installed to create a vibrant low-maintenance garden that flourished despite salt air and sandy soil. To provide for sustainability and ecological function, permeable paving materials were used for the pathways of washed stones to allow rainwater to filter into the ground and recharge the aquifer. The slope of the site posed one of the challenges of the , so we needed to innovate terracing ideas in order to manufacture usable spaces without adversely impacting the property. Our skilled & trained team designed a magnificent set of retaining walls made from local stone which adapted to the sloping site while lending texture and interest to the landscape. In conclusion, we successfully completed an amazing outdoor oasis that satisfies our clients. Their newly installed, lush garden draws local wildlife, provides a peaceful seating area to relax in while watching the sun sets, and serves as a functioning space for gathering with friends or family. The 'Oceanfront' showcases Tara Gardens Inc.'s exceptional competence in quality building, attention to detail, and knowledge of the coastal properties. Not only was this property highly functional and aesthetically pleasing, but it was a sanctuary to engage with nature and the luxuries of life along the shore of the ocean.
