Country Manor Walls and Planters by PACIFIC DREAMSCAPES Located in the visual beauty of Casa de Oro-Mount Helix, the 'Country Manor Walls and Planters' by PACIFIC DREAMSCAPES took an average backyard and created a magical outdoor space. Our team worked hard to design and build beautiful retaining walls from locally sourced, natural stone to complement the rustic feel of the site. We also designed and built custom planters made from reclaimed wood, providing a unique and aesthetically pleasing solution for the client’s favorite herbs and flowers. The planters provided interest to the site while ensuring a function with attractive options for planting. In addition to the beauty of the materials, we also faced some challenges like an uneven site and limited accessibility for heavy equipment. For these reasons, we engineered hand tools and planned every step to solve these problems and provide excellence in every aspect of the build. The final product is an elegant synthesis of form and function with the walls acting as structural pieces while the planters grew lovely green plants to serve as a foil for beautiful hostas and ferns and ultimately create a peaceful place for entertaining or for quiet reflection. The client communicated their happiness and how their outdoor area turned into a beautiful oasis that surpassed their expectations.
