Privacy in a Townhouse Setting Creative Landscapes, Inc. is pleased to introduce the "Privacy in a Townhouse" ; a landscaping aimed at providing a refuge for our clients in a busy townhouse community. Located in Garden City, our objective was to provide privacy while still achieving an aesthetically pleasing look in a limited space. To provide a multi-layered privacy screen we used a mix of evergreen shrubs including Leyland Cypress and Boxwood spaced for both an intentional buffer, while still holding an inviting atmosphere. To keep visual interest, we included ornamental grasses and flowering perennials, such as Black-eyed Susans and Lavender, in addition to evergreens, to bring seasonal color and attract the setup's pollinators. We used the best quality sustainable materials to create a custom trellis system with vines that enhance the level of privacy, in addition to vertical height. The patio and seating area of the space was enhanced further by a decorative stone pathway surrounded by fragrant plant material, thus creating a private-enclosure for relaxation and entertaining purposes. One challenge we faced was the limited space available to work with for both utility and esthetics purposes. Thus, we needed to think of creative design options to maximize both. Our thoughtful team took great care in the design to ensure everything worked together nicely, and the whole area did not feel crowded. This turned into a beautiful private enclave that functions well, fits the character of the layout, and highlights both beauty and function. The completed provides the client privacy, and peace, in an appealing setting that is valuable to their townhouse. Although we serve our communities of Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee, Surfside Beach, and Georgetown, Creative Landscapes, Inc. continues to be most proud of our experiences in landscaping, creating an exceptional quality and personalized solution.
