Private Sanctuary The 'Private Sanctuary' , completed by Creative Landscapes, Inc., is a prime example of our commitment to transforming outdoor spaces into a personal retreat. Located in the heart of Garden City, this showcases our capabilities and expertise in landscaping for clients throughout Wings and Locations near Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee, Surfside Beach, and Georgetown. The intent of our was to create an intimate and serene outdoor environment for the homeowners to escape everyday life. We began with a thorough site evaluation to identify topographical features that could be elevated. We faced the challenge of uneven terrain, however, we were able to skillfully level the area to facilitate drainage and potential use. The design incorporated a stunning water feature, complete with a custom stone waterfall cascading into a koi pond, which serves as a tranquil backdrop of soothing sounds. We selected natural stone from local quarries, ensuring they fit a coastal aesthetic with surrounding plantings. We chose native plantings for resilience, ease of upkeep, and to attract native pollinators. Our plant list was comprised of boldly colored flowering perennials, ornamental grasses, and aromatic herbs. A curving flagstone pathway provided access for wandering through the design and led to an intimate seating area with custom constructed pergolas entwined with climbing vines. There were multiple locations throughout the design to enjoy a casual afternoon or small gathering with friends and family. The entire was designed with ambient lighting to highlight the value of the landscape after dark. We also aimed to make the private sanctuary clear and enjoyable at night. The workmanship and attention to detail exhibited was exceptional during the process to address challenging soils, multiple existing root systems, and any variances within the site. The finished exceeded the client's expectations and transformed their backyard to a beautiful retreat, which showcases the deterioration of beauty and tranquility.
