About This Project

_PROPERTY: Spec, Landscapes by Jeffery, Inc._ Landscapes by Jeffery, Inc. turned a plain little backyard in the rolling hills of Calabasas into this gorgeous outdoor space with 'Spec', a designed for looks. This unique problem required our team, known for quality and innovation, to take into consideration the natural topography of the land while also addressing the clients needs of creating a peaceful yet performance-driven area. With local stone, we created beautiful walkways that wander through sustainable gardens planted with native plants, demonstrating year-round vibrant colors. A calming water feature takes center stage in the design. The water not only serves as the visual focal point of the landscape, it also adds a soft sound element to the mix. And, we built in an outdoor kitchen with top quality appliances along with finishes that withstand the outdoor elements in Malibu. We chose drought-resistant (so used less water) but still green plants that satisfied environmental needs too. Our team encountered challenges along the way involving steep gradients and existing infrastructure but nonetheless ensured that every aspect fit into its natural terrain throughout the duration of the . In the end the result was a cohesive oasis that the client had only dreamt of, and a place to relax or entertain. Landscapes by Jeffery, Inc.For the 'Spec' , Landscapes by Jeffery, Inc. applied an impressive attention to detail, which is a signature of the landscaping company. It provided additional beauty to the overall property as well as pushed up the value of the property itself, much to the joy of our Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Westlake Village, Malibu, and Pacific Palisades clients.
