We were tasked with the challenge of designing a putting green that would not only fulfill the customer's desires for competitive play, but one which would blend seamlessly with the surrounding desert landscape. The premium synthetic turf that we used was high-quality product known for its durability and realistic turf feel. We created a 1,200-square-foot synthetic putting green with undulating contours and strategically placed bunkers that feel like a real golf course, all designed to minimize maintenance. Surrounding the putting green are all of the areas important to the landscape. We included drought-tolerant plants that are native to the area; agave, desert marigolds, and red yucca all increase visual appeal, but will thrive in the area. Natural stone pathways were installed to provide elegant transit to the green while rock features and mulched beds flow through the entire property. The rocky terrain and creation of a sustainable irrigation system presented a challenge. Our capable team used innovative methods to produce an aesthetically appealing garden while implementing the best possible methods of water conservation to promote greenery throughout the area. The end result is a beautiful outdoor living space that invites both leisure and recreational experiences, creating a true oasis at the yester estate.
