Turf Pros Direct recently completed a stunning Pool Landscaping that transformed a backyard oasis in the heart of Palm Desert, which improved the outdoor living experience for the homeowner. We serve the great communities Bermuda Dunes, Cathedral City, Coachella, and the surrounding area, and we accepted the challenge of creating an oasis that was both luxurious and usable that would blend in with the existing pool. The consisted of all elements of landscaping that were carefully selected, including native plants to the Coachella Valley that required little water and thrive under the desert summer sun while still providing beautiful color and texture all year long. We were able to source high-end, natural stone pavers for the patio area, which provided a beautiful, durable surface that matched the surrounding landscape, which was highlighted by custom seating made from reclaimed wood for a rustic feel that creates a space to relax. One of the challenges we faced was that the area around the pool was not leveled and even. Our highly trained team successfully leveled the ground while still creating proper drainage so that there was no water pooling and causing damage. This required using creative means of grading and underground drainage, which helped us maintain the integrity of the landscape while improving the aesthetic value. The end result was absolutely stunning. Not only did the new landscape surround the pool with stunning plants and flowers with tons of greenery, it also created distinct zones for lounging, entertaining, and sunbathing. The addition of soft ambient lighting turned an already stunning space into a beautiful night-time retreat when family and friends gather to relax. The homeowner was excitedly relaying feedback to us that the new landscape has now become their favorite part of their home, and it truly represents a tranquil escape in the desert.
