About This Project

N. Washington Dr. Lido Key Residence P.C. Gormley Landscape Design LLC is pleased to announce the fully redesigned landscape at the beautiful N. Washington Dr. residence located in Lido Key. This truly symbolizes our commitment to quality and innovative design to meet the unique landscaping needs of our clients in the Florida sunshine. The final landscaping consists of an array of native plant species, drought tolerant plants, and hardscapes that make the landscape a nice retreat within walking distance to the beach. We used high-quality materials, such as natural stone paths, custom-built wood trellises, and attractive outdoor lighting, to ensure that this outdoor space is functional and aesthetically pleasing. The native palms, bougainvillea, and jasmine all not only add interest but promote biodiversity in support of local wildlife systems in the context of this coastal environment. The site presented some challenges, particularly the angle of the slope, with grading and drainage needs. Our talented team rose to the occasion, skillfully conserving the sloped feature and creating a tiered garden solution that provided proper drainage while adding an extra layer of depth and dimension. The final product creates an inviting outdoor experience, with a peaceful seating area surrounded by interest from tree canopies and seasonal flower color. The clients were thrilled with the transformation of the outdoor landscape, stating they could not believe how well the new landscape complemented the elegance of their home while providing a green space for family gatherings and entertaining a guest.
