Providing services to communities that include Brentwood, Chester, Derry, and beyond, we transformed a previously unused pathway into a beautiful entrance that captures the spectacular curb appeal of the property. The began with an on-site evaluation to assess the options for materials that fit the client’s vision, while making longevity a priority. To ensure we fit the bill, we chose locally-sourced granite stones that offer both quality and an aesthetic with staying power. The stones were all selected by hand to showcase an arrangement that flows with the natural beauty surrounding the space. Each stone was placed with skill, using a traditional dry-stacking process of layering stones that enhances the natural beauty of the stone while allowing for drainage and erosion prevention. One of the larger challenges we faced was working with the uneven terrain of the property. The team developed a minor slope to the property for the walkway to offer functionality while looking attractive. It took much work, in both grading and soil stabilization, where we took care to not disturb the adjacent garden beds. The results speak for themselves. Stone Walkway meanders gracefully through the foliage as visitors transition from the driveway to the front door and invites the potential to wander through gardens along the route. The meeting of the natural stone and plant life was alluring and offered an oasis atmosphere for the property owner and guests for years to come.
