About This Project

Title: Fireplace Patio Fairfield, CT Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC showcases their Fireplace Patio in beautiful Fairfield, CT. We designed this outdoor sanctuary to be an inviting space for family gatherings, and entertaining friends, combining usability with visual appeal! At the heart of the patio is a custom-built stone fireplace, built of durable local bluestone, which is then paired with a granite hearth for a rustic look. We laid an outdoor room of pavestone system of interlocking concrete pavers in natural colors surrounding the fireplace. The space was set up for space-efficiency with an emphasis on being open and allowing for easy movement and luxurious social-distancing. Along with the fireplace, we also included a variety of native plants and perennial flowers for something that will keep the landscape colorful throughout the seasons. It enriched the area not just aesthetically but also in terms of local biodiversity. To make a nice cozy atmosphere, we included some well-placed landscape lighting which highlighted the fireplace and the greenery that surrounded the space to create a beautiful scene during nighttime gatherings. The was not without its obstacles though uneven terrain and existing roots meant that a number of creative solutions were required, as well as some pretty careful planning. With the hard work and depth of knowledge from our team, we were able to navigate some of these challenges with the proper drainage so that the patio would last and not collect water. The end result is a beautiful outdoor living space that the client loves and now is more likely to go and enjoy their backyard in any season. The fireplace patio not only brings people together, but it also adds value and beauty to the property that exemplifies the level of care and quality that Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC are known for in Fairfield and beyond.
