With Atlanta’s finest residential neighborhood, the aimed to refresh the existing landscape lighting while introducing new, high-efficient lighting fixtures to uplighting its rich landscaping. The landscape, a mix of native flora, tasteful stone paths and large trees had obviously taken a lot of care on the part of our team. The home’s classic architecture and surrounding area reflected its original time frame through the use of natural materials, so the embedding of modern lighting tech within was a little more tricky. For the LED fixtures, we chose those that had the best output, longest life, and lowest energy consumption. Dimmable options offered bespoke ambiance, ensuring the client enjoyed a soft evening glow but could also up the stakes for lively get-togethers. The existing wiring was complex, which posed some challenges as the would also be requiring the preservation of the landscape level. Our technicians navigated these challenges efficiently by devising a new method of installation that would reduce disturbance to the garden. The outcome was a marriage of form and function, with lights illuminating the textures of the foliage and luminaires lighting the paths while preserving the land design. The client was happy with the end result and the transformation of the space gave him great joy. The property is beautiful and inviting at night, carrying the showcase feel of the exterior into a welcome for family and friends.
