The Shingle Shocked project represents a remarkable transformation of a once-ordinary farmhouse into a stylish and functional home tailored for a young family. Situated in Middletown, Rhode Island, this renovation began in 2016 and was brought to life through the collaboration of a dedicated design team and skilled construction experts. The exterior of the house was redesigned to reflect a contemporary beachy shingle style, featuring natural materials that harmonize with the coastal landscape. The previously concealed front door has been repositioned and accentuated, making the entrance welcoming and prominent.
