Located in the great community of Overland Park, this entryway is a functional and aesthetically pleasing update that helps provide curb appeal. The began with a full evaluation of the existing landscape. It included a rundown and uninviting entry. We first tackled the entryway by designing a new spacious entryway that used natural stone pavers with stylish bluestone accent to create a rustic yet modern walkway. The selected materials serve the dual purpose of including a long-lasting material, while matching the architectural style of the home and resolving the functionality of durability with a stark contrast to warm rustic design elements assimilating nicely into nature. Maverick Landscaping, Porch and Patio also designed in low maintenance perennial garden beds incorporating native ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs. The design purposefully included low maintenance native material that will endure in the climate, provide a lasting color display and not require excessive maintenance throughout the seasons. Placed correctly within the display, perennial color will adhere to the design purpose of inviting people to the front door while creating a thrilling collage of color for all to admire! One significant element included in the plans of the , were resolving the drainage issues inherited at the propery. The drainage, known to the homeowner, were addressed masterful by our teams personnel. The established a productive subterranean drain system. A successful will protect the foundation of the home from future water erosion. Utilizing a subterranean drain protects the original landscape and provides a healthy option for the overall landscape. The last design element of Triplett Front Entryway was a designed trellis constructed of natural cedar to detail climbing vines. The trellis, of natural material, allows for air movement, create a charming focal point at the entry and provides a natural privacy barrier to the home. Lastly, after the completion of the Triplett Front Entryway, our clients were overwhelmed with joy seeing their exceptional new entry provide ultimate functionality reflecting their style. At the same time, the created an exclusive outdoor experience filled with natural materials, quality workmanship and provide seasonal displays of color.
