Arbor - A Terranova Landscapes & Designs Inc. Initiative Terranova Landscapes & Designs Inc. is proud to introduce 'Arbor,' a landscaping enhancement that embodies style and functionality for our clients located in Clearwater. This combined natural plants and trees with beautiful hardscapes elements and worked to create an eased oasis that reflected the beauty of Florida's biosphere. The main feature of the Arbor was the custom-built pergola that was built using high-quality and sustainably-sourced cedar wood. This bright garden feature provides shade while also inviting relaxation and gathering in beautiful outdoor space. Inspired by the electrifying colors of the Florida beachside, we also very carefully selected an array of Florida native plants surrounding the pergola. Clients can delight in the vibrant colors of bougainvillea, fragrant jasmine, and ornamental grasses while protecting the space from invasive, non-native species. One of the challenges we faced was that the property’s landscape was not even. We leveled and graded the landscape to assure proper drainage and alleviate flood conditions during heavy rain. Additionally, we've completed our design with a beautiful, permeable paver pathway to enhance the usability of the space while invite guests to see the tapestry of colors and textures while allowing rainwater to permeate the ground. The Arbor came together supremely well! The result was a stunning outdoor space with strategic, LED lighting to provide beauty of the landscape in evening hours. Clients were thrilled with the outcome of this design and created a space to engage family and friends while lounging or entertaining.
