Terranova Landscapes & Designs Inc. is excited to present our most recent , 'Patio,' an incredible outdoor space designed for a client in beautiful Clearwater. This shows our commitment to beautiful and functional outdoor space designed to be complementary to the surrounding landscapes of Bay Pines, Belleair, and beyond. The 'Patio' was developed with a large multi-level outdoor area created using elegant, sustainable paver stones. Not only do the paver stones add a beautiful aesthetic for the outdoor area, but they are also durable and can withstand the weather shifts throughout various seasons. The hardscape was accented with a variety of native plantings, adding splashes of color, while also attracting native pollinators and demonstrating our commitment to ecological-friendly landscaping. One challenge during the was an uneven slope that required specific grading and drainage measures. Our team took innovative measures to provide a level outdoor area that could also eliminate issues with moving forward with the water flow. We paid great attention not only to the aesthetically pleasing components but to drainage, anticipating any future issues with eliminating standing water. The outcome is a beautiful outdoor patio area that doubled as a gathering place for family and friends, with the addition of customized seating, a firepit, and lighting. All in all, it is an incredible outdoor space for entertaining guests or relaxing outside on a nice evening, with a cozy fire enjoying the stars. Overall, the client loved the finished product, explaining that they now have a place that is the centerpiece for the family, including relaxation and socializing.
