Notable features include a thorough installation of beautiful native plantings that provided ecological and aesthetic benefits, employing a range of perennials and ornamental grasses that thrive in a coastal climate, they create year-round beauty with low maintenance. The use of natural stone in retaining walls and pathways brings warmth and rustic look to the properties natural topography. Drainage was one of the notable site challenges, enhanced by summer rain. In addition to strategic grading, we also were able to create a rain garden to manage the water that drains from the planters and pathways that provided vibration as well as a natural space for wildlife. From an aesthetic and functional level, the drainage improved usage of the landscape the plantings contribute to the ecological viability of the landscape.
