We recently completed a fascinating called ‘Front Landscape Design' for a discerning homeowner in the picturesque community of Westfield which we at Z.O. Landscaping are presenting below. Not only does the add some curb appeal to the property, the also contributes a nice inviting feel that plays an important role to the overall neighborhood. The flower bed is well-formed with seasonal flowers like peonies, hydrangeas, daylilies, etc. The plants were carefully chosen based on color, texture, & compatibility with the local climate conditions. We also made a sustainable mulch for the flower bed from recycled materials to help keep the bed moist and provide a beautiful finish around the border. The biggest obstacle we had to overcome was the slope/grade of the land at the front of the property. Our talented crew precisely managed to level the site, shaping it to perfection while creating natural stone retaining walls that harmonized the practical and the beautiful. Bluestone that is chosen to last and that should never go out of style was used for the walls. A permeable paver winding pathway to the front door was installed to improve function and drainage properties while maintaining ease of access. Along this path are low-maintenance ornamental grasses which provide a blended flow from driveway to front entry, and serve to further enhance curb appeal. What we ended up with was a beautiful front landscapeone that well exceeded the client's expectations. The attractive flowers, natural stone , and careful organization of space formed complementary elements giving an integrated design that works well with the residence architecture. We focus on the quality of work, detailing everything precisely, making sure that every funtioning worked well. Z.O.
